The Problem
The labelling operator provided very limited functionality for labelling in the retailer's personal office, and the customer's accounting systems were not ready for integration with IPT IS. This resulted in a lot of manual intervention required to record each individual item, resulting in a heavy workload for the staff.
The task
Developing and automating the labelling processes was our task. With minimal change to the business, it had to be integrated into the existing logistics processes.
The solution
We quickly understood the specifics of labelling in the Republic of Kazakhstan and how to interact with the national operator, thanks to our experience with labelling in the Russian Federation. As part of the project, we adapted the Russian labelling system to the Kazakh processes. We also wrote a separate service for signing documents in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Receiving goods from Russia, selling goods via mail order, re-labelling and labelling leftover goods, writing off goods and returns from buyers are now automated and working well.
