Implementation of an in-house solution for SAP ERP. Development of a mobile application for RTD for goods inwards, goods outwards and stock taking in retail outlets. Support and enhance the developed solutions.

Description of the situation BEFORE the project started:
The client was using SAP ERP system for its operational activities, where processes and functions for accounting of alcohol products according to Russian regulatory requirements (RAR, EGAIS) were missing. There was no mobile application for accepting alcoholic products at retail outlets.
Task:
Analysis of current processes (logistics, point of sale operations, reporting), systems in use (SAP ERP, POS, etc.). Propose a technical solution for alcohol accounting. To propose a solution for the operation of the retail outlets. To use a POS integrated with SAP and EGAIS.
This has been done:
A conceptual design document was developed and agreed with the client as a result of the study. Forays specialists developed, implemented and supported their own EGAIS solution as a separate sub-module of SAP within a few months. A mobile application for RTDs was developed and implemented. This enabled the receipt, movement and inventory to be carried out at the client's points of sale.
The result
The client received the missing functionality for accounting of alcoholic products, as required by the RF regulator, as a result of the SAP EGAIS project. As a result of the RTC project, the client gained functionality for receiving, movement and inventory at retail outlets, using mobile RTCs, which increased the efficiency of the retail outlets.
The client and Forays entered into a support and development contract for SAP and the mobile application after the migration project was completed. This will continue to run until 2023.
Both solutions have been significantly upgraded by Forays in recent years to meet the changing legal requirements of the Russian Federation.
