Description of the situation BEFORE the project started:
The client has its own testing in place. Looking for new team to join existing testing process.
Task:
Participate in improving the customer's testing process, interacting with other customer contractors as part of release testing.
Solutions to be tested:
Billing; CRM; payment gateways; public subscriber portal; personal accounts for merchants, subscribers and legal entities; integration with external systems; mobile applications (iOS, Android), totalling over 200 systems in the customer's IT landscape.
It was done:
To meet the customer's requirements, a test team of 12 experts, including a test manager, was set up. Training to enable the team to fully test the solution itself - 1 month. Together with the customer, a test reporting system was created. This included a quality passport for the test results. The team works under the full control of the test lead, iiii Tech, but fully within the customer's existing test processes and using the customer's tools.
Types of testing:
The team performs following tests: Unit, functional, integration, acceptance, E2E, regression, mobile application testing.
The result:
The iiii Tech test team receives a release to test on 'in'. After passing the test, they return the tested release, which they confirm with a quality passport. The commercial product has no defects. Recommendations on how to run and operate the software.
